A Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, February 13th, at 6:30 pm in council chambers, at 400 Main Street.

Members of the public can attend and speak at the hearing, or hand in written submissions. Written submissions can be emailed to admin@townofyarmouth.ca, or delivered to Town Hall, and must be received by 12 pm (noon) on February 10th, 2025.

What is the Hearing About?

This Public Hearing will address the following items:

Proposed Development Agreement for 88, 90 & 94 Main Street and 14, 16 & 18 Hueston Street

The owner of 88, 90 & 94 Main Street and 14, 16 & 18 Hueston Street (PID#’s 90196734, 90196726 & 90196718) applied to enter into a Development Agreement to formally recognize and allow for six short-term rental units. Council has approved to move forward with a Public Hearing prior to consideration of the requested Development Agreement.

Proposed Development Agreement for 1 Jenkins Street

The owner of 1 Jenkins Street (PID# 90195066) applied to enter into a Development Agreement to formally recognize and allow for five (5) existing short-term rental units. Council has approved to move forward with a Public Hearing prior to consideration of the requested Development Agreement.

Proposed Development Agreement for 25 Willow Street

The owner of 25 Willow Street (PID# 90207861) applied to enter into a Development Agreement to allow for two (2) short-term rental units. Council has approved to move forward with a Public Hearing prior to consideration of the requested Development Agreement.
