With southwestern Nova Scotia's open spaces and fresh air, every day is an opportunity. Run along the shoreline amongst the crashing ocean waves. Pitch a tent and look up at the stars. Hike the trails or take a canoe. In the winter, you can go sliding, play hockey, skate, ice fish, or polar bear diving with friends. Discover more at the Yarmouth & Acadian Shores website.

You can also find a variety of local events happening throughout the year by checking out our community events calendar.

Yarmouth also features a breathtaking 18-hole golf course with a history dating back to the early 1800s. Its links-style layout offers a panoramic view of the local lighthouse and the Atlantic – with rolling fairways, small greens, and unpredictable ocean breezes that make the Yarmouth Links a course you'll feel proud to conquer.
