The Town of Yarmouth and our partner organizations provide both year-round and seasonal services. Here are a few that change with the leaves.

Winter

Snow and Ice Management

Our Public Works Department is responsible for making our streets and sidewalks safe and accessible for pedestrians and properly equipped vehicles. We provide snow and ice control for a number of areas within the town. In turn, Yarmouth’s residents and business owners are responsible for removing snow and ice from other areas. Spring

Adopt-a-Block

Adopt-a-Block is a volunteer initiative beginning in late spring. It takes between a few hours to a weekend to complete. The objective? Help clean up the litter that's collected over the winter months!

Businesses, residents, and not-for-profit organizations can adopt a street, a block, or perhaps just a portion of a street. This program makes a huge difference in the town by cleaning any area of the town that needs a little love.
