Community Event Calendar

The Nova Scotia Association of Garden Clubs (NSAGC) Western District looks forward to welcoming everyone to the Rodd Grand Hotel and Convention Centre, as we go “Back to Our Roots.”

It promises to be a fantastic and fun-filled convention showcasing: Yarmouth’s history, Acadian Culture, and providing opportunities to get “Back to Our Roots” with conversation, camaraderie, and jam-packed activities!

• Keynote speakers will provide information on topics from invasive plant species, light pollution and native Nova Scotian Flora and Fauna
• Entertainment is provided by The Yarmouth Shantymen AND we will be hosting our very own Acadian “Kitchen Party” to highlight the Congrès Mondial Acadien
• Local area vendors showcasing plants, flowers and unique artworks
• Walking tours of Yarmouth
• Self-guided garden tours within the Yarmouth area
• Food and refreshments for the Convention were provided by Rodd Grand Hotel
