The Yarmouth Water Utility's water main flushing program is in progress. Flushing will take place today, Friday, May 8th, from 9 am to 4:30 pm in the area of: Argyle Street to the south town line (2535 Chebogue Road), from Main Street to Forbes Street. Flushing will also happen at the Wasoqopa’q First Nation reserve.
Some discoloration and fluctuation in water pressure may be experienced during this period. Customers are advised to not wash clothes during this time. The Yarmouth Water Utility apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
