A public participation meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 5th at 6:00 pm with the Planning Advisory Committee.

Members of the public can register to speak at the meeting or provide written submissions. Registrations to speak, and written submissions, must be received no later than 4:30 pm on Thursday, September 29th by emailing planningadmin@townofyarmouth.ca or calling 902-742-1505.

The meeting will address the following matters:

➡ An application for rezoning for two lots on Water Street from waterfront industrial (M-2) to medium density residential (R-2).
➡ An application for a Land Use Bylaw amendment to allow for Boarding or Rooming Houses in the Downtown Commercial (C-1) zone.
➡ An application for a Development Agreement and Land Use Bylaw amendments from the Affordable Housing Association of Nova Scotia to construct a 24-unit affordable housing complex on vacant town owned land on Shaw Avenue.
