A Public Participation Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 23rd, at 6 pm at Yarmouth Town Hall, 400 Main Street. The meeting will allow interested parties to provide their thoughts on submitted applications directly to the Planning Advisory Committee.
Feedback received will help inform the Committee's recommendation on the applications to Council. All are welcome to attend.
What is the meeting about?
The meeting will cover the following five topics:
55 Starrs Road - Development Agreement to recognize existing legally non-conforming office use, permit medical clinic uses in the existing building, and allow for a new standalone office building of up to 3,000 sq. ft.
77 Starrs Road - Development Agreement to permit medical clinic uses (up to 3,500 sq. ft.) in the existing building.
77 Parade Street - Development Agreement to permit medical clinic uses (up to 4,000 sq. ft.) in the existing building.
76 Starrs Road - Development Agreement to permit medical clinic and office uses, up to 20,000 sq. ft. combined.
3 Commercial Street - Rezoning from R-1 to R-2 to permit a conversion from 2-unit building to 4-unit building.
191 Main Street - Rezoning from R-2M to C-1 to enable the property's eligibility for the Town's phased-in tax program.
