Please be advised that beginning Monday, November 6th, a project will get underway to upgrade the elevator at Yarmouth town hall. The work will last for approximately 6 weeks, and the elevator will be out of operation for the entire time.
Please note the following for accessing the building and services within:
- Customers who normally access the building from the back parking lot on Glebe Street, and use the elevator to access upper floors, please use the entrance on Main Street during this time. This will provide access needed for appointments and services located on the main level such as payment of water/sewer bills, tax bills, parking tickets, purchasing of transit passes, and for general inquiries.
- If you have accessibility challenges and need access to services from or the Planning and Economic Development Department located on the third floor, you can simply make an inquiry with reception staff on the main level, and they will have someone come down to meet with you.

- Remember, many of our services including payment of bills, can be done online or at your bank.
