This is to serve notice that the Council of the Town of Yarmouth, at its meeting on March 9th, 2023, at 6:30 pm, approved amendments to the Noise Bylaw.
Noise Bylaw Amendments
Council approved amendments that allow for the removal of an exemption in the bylaw (section 5h) pertaining to loud or unnecessary noises made by motor vehicles (e.g. excessive noise from mufflers). This section was no longer needed as local RCMP have provisions within the Motor Vehicle Act to deal with these issues.
