Get an insider's look at the Yarmouth Fire Department! Join us for our Fire Prevention Week Open House on Saturday, October 12 from 2pm to 4pm at the Yarmouth Fire Hall, 221 Pleasant Street. Come meet local Firefighters, tour the hall, and learn about fire safety. Kids, come on out to spray fire hoses, check out the equipment, and explore the fire trucks. Cake and bouncy castles too! Bring the whole family for an afternoon of fire safety fun!

Fire Prevention Week is celebrated throughout North America every October. For more than 100 years, Fire Prevention Week has worked to educate people on the risk of home fires and ways to minimize them. Local fire departments, schools and community organizations play a key role in bringing Fire Prevention Week to life in their communities each year and sharing basic, but critical, fire safety messages.
