An international celebration of Acadian culture

The Congrès mondial acadien 2024 will bring together the Acadian diaspora from across the world for nine days of celebrations, discovery and reunions in Southwest Nova Scotia. Located near the town of Yarmouth, the Acadian region of Southwest Nova Scotia is made up of the municipalities of Clare and Argyle.

Come discover the warm and welcoming people from this rural corner of Nova Scotia, as well as the tastes and traditions of the region and its more than 400 years of Acadian history!
