The Town of Yarmouth will be accepting sealed tenders for the purpose of awarding a contract to provide snow clearing and removal for parking facilities throughout the town. This contract will be for a one-year period starting upon award until March 31, 2026.
The contract has been awarded to K. Anthony Landscaping. See attached tender results:

Town of Yarmouth Tender – Trucking of Highway Salt 2025/2026 Season

The Town of Yarmouth invites tenders for the delivery of bulk highway salt from the Canadian Salt Company in Pugwash, NS, to the Public Works salt shed at 227 Pleasant Street in Yarmouth, NS for the 2025/2026 winter season.
The salt storage shed holds up to 300 tonnes of salt and is to be replenished throughout the winter season as required. The total quantity of salt to be hauled is approximately 1,500 tonnes.
* The tender was awarded to Elmsdale Landscaping Ltd. to provide trucking of bulk salt, in the amount of $57.50 per tonne plus HST for a total estimated contract price for the season of $86,250.00 plus HST.
TOY- RFP South Playground Open Air Pavilion 2025

The Town of Yarmouth invites qualified contractors to submit proposals for the design and construction of an open-air pavilion at Yarmouth South Playground. The pavilion will serve as a multi-purpose space for community events, gatherings, and recreational activities. The pavilion will be constructed over an existing concrete pad, located on the southeast corner of the property.
Deadline: Tuesday May 13, 2025 3:00 pm
Submission Format: Paper copy mailed or delivered to Town of Yarmouth, 400 Main St, Yarmouth NS, B5A 1G2. Envelope to be clearly marked ‘Attn: CAO, RFP South Playground Open Air Pavilion’
The tender was awarded to Garian Construction Ltd for the price of $68,275.00 plus HST.

Town of Yarmouth Paving & Patching Program 2025 Season

We are requesting contract unit prices for patching and paving various streets within the Town of Yarmouth for the 2025 season. Please find attached tender forms, together with the necessary specifications, all for your use in submitting tender prices.
The tender closing date will be on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Sealed tenders are to be returned to the office of the Chief Administrative Officer, 400 Main Street, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, B5A 1G2 in a sealed envelope clearly marked Town of Yarmouth - Patching & Paving Tender - 2025".
Public opening of the tenders received will be held immediately following the closing of the tender in the Council Chambers, 400 Main Street, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted. Such things as past performance, quality of work, references and start/completion dates will be taken into consideration when awarding the contract.

2025 Town of Yarmouth Water Utility Alum Sludge Dewatering Tender
- Details
The Town of Yarmouth requires the services of a qualified contractor, that deploys and operates their own hydraulic vacuum dredging, along with a high solids, high volume dewatering system, to remove and dewater alum sludge from 2 holding lagoons. The project will require 24-hour/day continuous operation until completion. The contractor will need to provide experienced personnel trained in the proper operation of alum sludge removal and dewatering equipment. It is expected to take about 5 days at 24 hours per day continuous operation, for de-watering of approximately 5000m³ (+- 15%) varying in 2-8 percent solids alum sludge. The surface area of each lagoon is approximately 1024 m². The sludge will be dewatered to a minimum of 20% solids and must be suitably ready for complete removal from the work site as it is produced. The Town of Yarmouth will arrange for containment and removal of the dewatered sludge as it is produced.
