Beginning in the morning of Wednesday, June 26th, work will move back to Vancouver Street where waterline installation will commence under the bridge. If you are travelling through the area, please note the following:
➡ Vancouver Street in the area of the bridge will be single lane only. The north lane will be closed and flaggers will be in place to direct traffic through the single lane. Emergency vehicles will continue to be given priority.
➡ UPDATE: On Thursday, June 27th, there will be no lane closure or traffic control as work will take place under the bridge. Drivers are asked to continue to exercise caution.
➡ On Friday, June 28th, the north lane closure and traffic control will be back in place until the end of the day. Water Street, between Cann Street and Vancouver Street, will be local traffic only.
PLEASE NOTE: these closures are subject to change during construction. While we will do our best to offer updates, please be prepared for changes or new lane closures as you approach the area. All work is weather permitting. While Daily work times are 7 am to 7 pm, but may vary due to weather or other factors.
