Town of Yarmouth to Develop Culture, Parks, and Recreation Master Plan: Input from residents and community groups is being sought as a key part of the process

Yarmouth, NS (March 17, 2025) – The Town of Yarmouth is developing a Culture, Parks, and Recreation Master Plan to guide future planning and decisions relating to culture, parks, and recreation services and facilities. The plan will take a multipronged approach that recognizes the unique characteristics of culture, parks, and recreation, while also acknowledging the similarities between them and the positive impact they can have on wellbeing and quality of life.

Creation of the plan is being led by Expedition Management Consulting Ltd., and a key part of the process is to seek plenty of public input. Feedback received from residents and community groups will help form the plan, and shape the future of culture, parks, and recreation in Yarmouth.
