The Town of Yarmouth congratulates and welcomes Belle Hatfield as the newest member of Town Council
Saturday, September 18th, 2021 - Yarmouth, N.S. – The Town of Yarmouth will soon swear in a new member of Town Council. Belle Hatfield is the winner of the 2021 Councillor by-election, filling the seat left empty with the passing of Councillor Jim MacLeod.
Belle, one of 3 candidates who began campaigning for the seat last month, won the election with a total of 1067 votes. The unofficial voting results are as follows:
