There was an exciting development at Yarmouth town hall this week that will help advance the town's goals around improving accessibility. Town hall is now listed on the App “GoHere” as part of the Crohn’s and Colitis GoHere Washroom Access Program.
This App is available for android and iPhone users and provides listings, based on location, of public washrooms available for use.
"The Town of Yarmouth Accessibility Committee is very excited about this listing, and now plans to engage other local businesses to consider joining GoHere in an effort to provide a strong showing on the app for this area," said Accessibility Advisory Committee Chair, Stephen Nicholl.
With some pushing from the Accessibility Advisory Committee and others over coming weeks and months, the hope is to increase awareness of the app, and of course how providing washroom access can greatly help those who deal with crohn’s and colitis each day.
You can download the GoHere App and use it to quickly find a public washroom when you need it, in any location. Visit the App Store ( iPhone) and Google play (Android) to download it for FREE.
