The W. Laurence Sweeney Museum of Fisheries opens on July 20th at 112 Water Street in Yarmouth! 

The museum houses a collection of artifacts from companies owned by the late W. Laurence Sweeney as well as information Yarmouth's marine heritage. These objects provide a glimpse into the history of Yarmouth's fishing and freight industry. The fisheries museum contains seven reproduced buildings, an 18.5-m (60-ft) replica coastal freighter and a 30-m (100-ft) wharf, which allows visitors to experience a historical waterfront from the 20th century. 

The museum hours are Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm, until August 31st.
