The Town of Yarmouth cares about climate change and is taking steps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) generated through its operations.
Through a recent survey, we received valuable input from residents which helped us develop a plan to achieve our reduction goals. At the February 11th, 2021 Council meeting the Town of Yarmouth approved a Mitigation Action Plan to reduce GHGs and the Town’s agreed upon GHG emissions reduction target of 20% below 2016 levels by the year 2030.
