Town of Yarmouth Choosing to Act Now on Ivany Report

The Town of Yarmouth is acting now, not never, on the One Nova Scotia report. Created by the Nova Scotia Commission on Building Our New Economy, the report was released in February 2014 and lays out a plan to move the province forward. See full press release below.

Neighbourhood Improvement Program

Housing Nova Scotia kicking off Yarmouth Neighbourhood Improvement Program Tuesday, August 18th, 2015. Residents within the program area can expect an in person visit this week from a Housing Nova Scotia representative with an application form. Landlords will be receiving application packages in the mail. See map for Program area by clicking the link below. Also attached is the Neighbourhood Improvement Initiative Landlord Facts Sheet.

Parking Permits & Passes

Day passes for parking in the Town of Yarmouth two-hour parking lots only are available at a cost of $2.00 per day.

Monthly parking permits for parking in the Town of Yarmouth two-hour parking lots only are available at a cost of $20.00 per month.

All passes must be displayed in the vehicle, visible to the Parking Officer.

Passes may be purchased at the Yarmouth Town Hall, 400 Main Street, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, exclusive of holidays.
