Work has moved along well recently with the Water Street infrastructure upgrade project. Please be advised that extended street closures on Water Street that began Tuesday, April 28th, will come to an end today, Tuesday, May 5th, at 6 pm. Please note the following:
➡ Water Street between Chester Street and Richards Lane will reopen to vehicular traffic at 6 pm today, May 5th.
➡ Richards Lane will reopen to traffic at 6 pm today, May 5th.
➡ Water Street between Richards Lane and Cann Street will remain closed to traffic, with only local traffic to abutting businesses/residences permitted.
➡ Water Street between Richards Lane and Cann Street remains closed to all pedestrians. Pedestrians are asked to please use the Yarmouth County Rail Trail as a detour.
