Nominations are now open for Mayor and six Councillors in the 2024 election happening October 19th. If you are planning to run for a seat on council, please note the following:
➡ Candidates information packages are available at Yarmouth Town Hall, 400 Main Street. This is a mandatory step when running for council. To receive your package, please book an appointment with the Returning Officer (contact details below).
➡ Be sure to have your nomination filed at the office of the Returning Officer, Lower Level Town Hall, 400 Main Street, between 9 am and 5 pm on nomination day, which is Tuesday, September 10th. You may also file by appointment during office hours in the seven business days preceding nomination day.
