CJLS Radio, established in 1934 is the only English language private broadcaster serving western Nova Scotia. They have 3 transmitters; 95.5 MHZ covering Yarmouth County, 93.5 MHZ serving Digby County and 96.3 MHZ in Shelburne County.

Their programming emphasis is on local news and community events and adult contemporary music. They also feature specialty programs that appeal to a broad range of interests.
