The proposed work at Lake Milo dam consists of repairing the concrete fishway, increasing the stability of the stone masonry spillway structure with downstream concrete, raising the impervious abutments and adding approximately 1 meter of wave protection to each abutment, raising and extending the walkway access to the flow control actuator, and installing chain link fencing at the each abutment. 

Tender documents can be picked up from the Town Hall, Yarmouth NS, upon payment of a $50.00 cheque (HST included) payable to the Town of Yarmouth.  Document fee is not refundable.

A tender/briefing site visit will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Lake Milo Dam on the corner of Main and Vancouver Streets, Yarmouth NS.
