Amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law to Correct Omissions and Errors

What is this meeting about?
The Town of Yarmouth’s Planning staff have submitted a report outlining specific amendments to both the Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) and Land Use By-law (LUB). The purpose of these amendments is to correct errors and omissions within both documents that Planning staff have documented since earlier this year.

How will this affect me?
These amendments will provide both greater context and clarity to certain policies and by-laws within the MPS and LUB. This will be beneficial to both the public and Planning staff when using these documents to permit and regulate development within the Town.

How do I get more information?
More information about these amendments are provided in the Planner’s report. To view this report, visit: https://www.townofyarmouth.ca/current-applications.html or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your specific questions.

A survey regarding the proposed amendments is also available on the Town of Yarmouth Get Involved site. Please take the survey through the following link: https://getinvolvedyarmouth.ca/municipal-planning-strategy-land-use-by-law-amendments
