The purpose of these applications is to permit the developer’s proposal of constructing a 23 unit apartment building on the subject property

2.Repeal of the Property Tax Exemption Bylaw
Take notice that the Council of the Town of Yarmouth will hold a public hearing regarding the following matter:
That Council repeal the Property Tax Exemption Bylaw as recommended by the Director of Finance. The intent of the repeal is to replace the bylaw with a Property Tax Exemption Policy. The policy would allow residential property owners of a single-family dwelling unit located within the Town of Yarmouth to apply for a property tax reduction if their total family income is less than $25,000.
