A Public Hearing will be held on Land Use By-Law Amendments To Rezone 38 Vancouver Street

A Public Hearing will be held on Thursday December 10, 2020 at 7:00 pm in Town Council Chambers, 400 Main Street. Written submissions will be accepted, and speakers can register to speak in person or by calling in.

➡️ Verbal submissions will be received at the time of the Public Hearing by registering to speak in person. Speakers MUST wear a mask at all times except when speaking. Those not able to wear a mask for medical reasons may call in to the meeting. What are the amendments about?

The proposal would rezone 38 Vancouver Street from Low Density Residential (R-1) Zone to Medium Density Residential (R-2) Zone. The purpose of the proposed change is to enable the conversion of the existing building on the property to a three-unit dwelling.

How will this affect me?

If approved, the zoning for the single property will be changed, permitting uses within the Medium Density Residential (R-2) Zone to be developed on the property.
