Due to Covid-19 restrictions, this year's event will be held virtually. Read on for details!
Over the past year, Covid-19 health restrictions have prevented Communities in Bloom Yarmouth from holding large gatherings such as the Ken Langille Gardening Symposium. At the same time, the interest in gardening has grown substantially. While in lockdown, people turned to digging in the soil in an attempt to grow their own food and gain some control over their changing life. It is hoped that this resurgence in gardening will continue and that “Covid Gardeners” will become gardeners for life.
So while people cannot gather together for the symposium this year, Communities in Bloom Yarmouth have put together a list of short videos and website links to help you plan for the upcoming gardening season. These are broken down into 5 days and will be shared each day beginning Monday, but you are welcome to view and read these however you choose!
