Description:

Application to amend the Land Use By-law (LUB) as applied to 26 Burton Avenue (the subject property), to permit "Cultivating and Processing" and "Manufacturing/Industrial assembly operations.." The subject property is located on Burton Avenue and is presently zoned General Commercial (C-2). The requested uses are not permitted in the C-2 Zone but can be found in the Commercial Industrial (CI-4) Zone as outlined in the Planner's report. The recommendation is that the request be deferred and that a comprehensive development planning process be initiated for the area zoned Commercial Holding (C-H) south of Starrs Road including the subject property and some other adjacent properties.

Description:

Application to amend the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law to permit the construction of additional residential units at 65 Parade Street and 199 Pleasant Street. The amendment would affect all properties in the CI-4 Zone.
