The Milo Aquatic Club is home to a variety of seasonal activities. In the warm months, a supervised waterfront (Nova Scotia Lifeguard Service), a sailing program, and a canoe/kayak program make the Aquatic Club a hot spot for area children and youth. The Club also has a recently renovated reception hall and kitchen facilities on the second floor, suitable year round for banquets, clinics, and meetings, or leisure activities that require minimal space, such as martial arts, yoga, or an art program.

The Aquatic Club is also pleased to offer a public boat launch and floating docks which are used by the local bass club, and others, throughout the year.

Another great activity in the summer months is tennis.  St. Ambrose Tennis Courts are located on the corner of Pleasant and Albert Streets in Yarmouth, adjacent to the St. Ambrose Church Hall.  There are 3 courts for use at this site. The courts are not locked and available on a first come, first served basis. The Hebron Tennis Courts are part of the Hebron Recreation Centre. From the #1 Highway, turn onto Highway 340 to South Ohio. From there, turn left onto the Cemetery Road. The entrance to the Recreation Complex is on your left, just before the cemetery.

With 8 baseball fields in and around the community, some of these fields having multiple diamonds, there is no shortage of space for anything from tournaments to a fun day of friends getting together to have a fun game of baseball.

There are two soccer fields, one located at the Yarmouth Consolidated Memorial High School, the other just outside of town at Maple Grove Education Centre.
